About me...

I'll keep this section short as no-one is really going to visit this site to hear my life story but, according to this page on good web design practise, people might actually want to read this stuff!

I'm a 28 year old guy living in Worcester in the UK. I'm originally from Salisbury - I left to study Physics with Electronics at Leeds University and, after graduating, I moved to Worcester where I live with my girlfriend and our cat. I've recently started a new job with the British Antarctic Survey which will take me out of the UK for a while and am going to try and write a blog as a sort of web diary and a way of keeping in touch with everyone while I'm away.

I like nothing more than tinkering with hardware and using the knowledge I've gained to produce stuff that works. That's what this site's about really - I'm collecting together some of my projects and hoping that maybe people will find it interesting and learn something from what I've done.

As you can probably tell from the majority of the site's content, I play a bit of guitar. I'm just an amateur player struggling to get together some guys to play with regularly - too many guitar players, not enough other musicians! Ah well, in the mean time we'll just keep practicing...

Other things I do? I generally spend too much time on this PC playing games and tinkering with software. I used to be a fairly active climber - I don't get out now as much as I used to but I still like to be on the hills when I can.

Well, I guess that's probably all I need to write here. If you're really desperate to find out more about me (???) you can always use the feedback form and ask me anything you like!
